Hello everyone,
I just installed slackware 10.0 on my Averatec 3200 today and I am having problems using startx as a non-root user. If I am logged in as root I can type startx and it will load up enlightenment window manager just fine like I want it to. However, if I type startx as a non-root user X will get ready to start then all of a sudden stop. I checked the output afterwards and it is no different from when I run the command as the root user. I also checked the Xorg log file and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I really don't want to install again, I just want to find a way to get this working correctly and any help would be appreciated.
- Thanks

*edit* Just one quick note. I searched the web and noticed that other people with this problem had messed up premissions. If thats the case lemme know what things to check for premission problems.
