linux stopped browseing web pages

HellO...

linux stopped browseing any web page but Google

I always forward the connection from a window box to RedHat~9 on my

laptop ...suddenly linux stopped browseing any site with Mozilla or any

web browser on linux ....

I always too use

# route add default gw <win_box_ip>

Cookies in both windowz or linux are allowed...

from hotmail.com i see this error

any site else i see transfering data from <the site> down the browser..

but in the same time when i connect directly from laptop to the Internet <not through windowz> it works normal...


what most likely the problem ..???..

1. Does web browsing and all other networking functions work correctly on the Windows machine?

2. Can you ping the IP of the Windows (gateway) machine from the Linux box?:

3. Can you ping Internet sites from the Linux box either by URL or by IP address? TRy Yahoo:

ping 68.142.226.43

and

ping www.yahoo.com

My ip_s working fine already ..

if you notice i said it just Google connect through windowz

any site else NO ....and searching on google too bring some results but just GOOGLE ....
