widescreen resolution

I just installed Mandrake 10.0 on my laptop and everything is working smoothly. However, I have a 15.4" widescreen laptop that runs best at 1200x800 resolution. I can change the resolution to this using the screen resize in KDE, but it goes back to 1024x768 whenever I reboot. How can I make 1200x800 my permanent resolution?

Edit your X config file... usually /etc/X11/XF86Config
