Hello!
Is there any Linux distribution, without any graphic managers like KDE or gnome and witch size is about <= 210MB? I want it to burn into mini-disk! I found that "Damn Small" Linux is only 48MB, but it doesn't have C++ compiler and it has graphic managers. I need a distribution, that has only console! Thank you!!!

Slax (http://slax.linux-live.org/) is about 180MB, and boots up to BASH, and it comes with a GUI, but you have to execute it manually.

Thank you!
I will try Slax out, because I'm using Slackware and its futures sounds really great!!! :D

Sorry about my earlier post, I just popped in SLAX, and there is no gcc or make.

Thats OK, I found that there are Spcial versions of Slax:

SLAX Kill-Bill (beta)
SLAX with WINE to run Windows apps

SLAX Professional (beta)
SLAX with GCC to compile source codes

SLAX Popcorn (beta)
SLAX with XFce, FireFox, mplayer, xmms

SLAX Hacker (n/a yet)
SLAX with everything what hackers need

SLAX Frodo (n/a yet)
SLAX without Xwindow, just console Linux

Only thing I don't like is that when Slax is booting it isn't 1024x768. I like small fonts! :D

Doesn't Slax ask for kernel boot options? If it does, just type "bare.i vga=792" - replace bare.i with whatever kernel you use.
