i was looking for a huge distro for a desktop that has a very slow (slower than 56K) internet conenction. i want it to have a LOT of applications already on the CD instead of downloading it.
my own PC has a fast internet connection, so i can afford to download lots of ISO files.
so which (free beer) distro has the most apps? (it doesn't have to be easy to use)

SuSE Pro 9.2

they even add all that P.I.T.A. stuff to configure like getting Konqueror to recognize your JVM.

Debian Sarge (http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/cd-images/debian-weekly/i386/) has 7 cds of software binaries, and 7 cds of source. I would reccomend Debian, because it is stable and easy to install (with the new and improved installer)
