ccux installation

has anyone tried to install CCUX and if so have they had any issues?
I tried to install ccux on my pc and laptop and I had error's after the install.
no gui no nothing.

I take it no one else has tried the Installation, the desktop is a simple KDE or GNOME. Basic look, but a issue installing.......

I hope I can get some feedback elsewhere on the installation issue, so I dont try and rack my brain on a issue thats not self related.
