My latest gentoo install failed (some problem with emerging KDE...), so now I am trying to install debian. I have an nForce 3 chipset with onboard gigabit LAN, but for I have an add in PCI card because it works easier in Linux. Now, the debian install is finished, but I keep getting a
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmist timed out message. Is there a way to just disable eth0 (presumably the onboard LAN), and just use the PCI card? All other distro's I have tried solved it just fine :(...
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: Forgot, its sarge.
