Crash dive

I've installed SuSe 8.2 Pro on a system that is also loaded with Lindows.
The install apparently went well, but now, when I boot from the hard disk, the program will boot until it reaches the login prompt, and promptly shut down my machine.

Does it just dislike me?

Sorry, can't help it having a laugh at whenever there is an opportunity.

Think we need a bit more information to diagnose your problem.

You can either have another go installing Suse.

Or get a Live CD, Knoppix, Mepis etc , boot up your PC, log in as Root user, and copy and paste your Suse's /boot/grub.menu.lst here.
