Surfing a couple of days ago, I came across a distro, based on Slack, that would fit on a mini-disc. It is a stand-alone distro that runs without installing software. Does anyone know the name of this disto? I can't remember and wan't to try it bad.

Slax rocks! Although I use Mepis day-to-day, Slax is my carry-around distro for when I'm using someone else's rig. I use it a lot on my own 'puter, too. It's probably the fastest live CD around; maybe even as fast as many installed distros.
I understand it's not really designed for permanent installation on the ol' hard drive, but I think I'm gonna give it a shot anyway.
