Hi Guys
Follow up:
Thanks to your help I have managed to sell Linux to my brother. We will be installing fedora shortly... I am also downloading Lycoris for my mum (she is a Windows XP fan, but I figure Lycoris will make her happy!).
My network will hopefully be Linux only in a few months (I have to wean them off Windows. Anyway, since I'm doing the Linux thing, I figured I should do it properly and dowloaded CensorNet, a Linux Distro which is simply a router, Problem is, Im on dial-up and it only works with network enabled broadband modems. So do you have any ideas for a distro which is designed for this perpous (routing dial-up), preferably with a DHCP server.
I would also like a simple interface - see http://www.censornet.com/
I dont want to have to install a standard distro and strip it down and add the correct network components, and configure it all manually.
Please bear in mind 2 things:
1. The target PC is a P1 233 MMX, 32MB RAM, Realtek NIC (to local network).
2. I plan to upgrade to broadband using an old AOL USB modem (but not on AOL), I have a driver (BT Voyager 100), but the distro will need to be able to handle that scenario.
Thanks for the help.
