I have just installed linux for the first time on boot the momiter displayes nor available geforce fx 5700le monityer it works 17" lcd I can't get past the moniter not accepting the boot screen any help would be appreciated

1. What distribution did tou install?
2. What hardware specifications are your machine?
3. Answer those 2 and we can help.
