I just downloaded all three discs for mandrake 10 and began installing it on my laptop (hp pavillion ze4115) and first off the touchpad wouldn't let me click on anything, I had to do the installation using only the keyboard... but I'm not so much worried about that. My real problem is that I begin getting errors throughout the entire file copy section. "There was an error installing package: insert package name here" it does this with about 30 packages or so. I've tried re-burning the cd's with a different brand media and it still does the same thing everytime. I just had windows xp on the notebook prior to this so I know it works just fine, I've never had any problems with it until now.

Those errors have hapened to me before here is what you do got to http://www.md5summer.org/ then verify that the md5 is the same as what MDK says it should be. Once verified then burn the CD's @ 24X or slower and then all should be fine.
