here is my prob. just installed santafe linux. it works well, debian based, gnome desktop. i wanted to mount my windows partition so i created a drive and mounted it. i got an error, must be root. so i "su"ed , and it of course asked me for my password. Here is the problem. the owners manual on the desktop doesnt give you root password, nor does there website, the have no faq yet. i checked the whole cd a nothing. so that sucks. i thought i might have a found a good alternative to knoppix, but oh well. think im going to try DSL or Mephis for a boot from CD OS.

just booted with it and nothing pretty flames then nothing not even a console. No documentation on there site and no md5 to verify if I got a good download. skip it for now.

They should have a warning about the root password thing, call it the "Santa clause". :)
