I've got a Dell Axim X3. I think there are efforts to port Linux to it.

Unfortunately, you can't sync this one with Linux, only Windows. So, I'm stuck dual booting...

You can build in support to connect to IPAQ know in the kernel. Its under serial usb something or other in the kernel config. I've put Familiar Linux on an IPAQ 3800 before and it was decent. If I were you I would get a Zaurus though. It runs Linux out of the box. I'd get one if I had the $$$
