Why Has ~zoey~ Been Blocked?

This is a GREAT forum, very helpful.

The only problem is that I was only alllowed to post on one thread as ~zoey~ after that I could log in OK,, but whever I tried to go in the website, I was told that either I was trying to go where I was not allowed, or I had not completed registration, or a web master was not allowing me to post.

My first post was probably very naive because at that point I had been working at learning Linux for less than a week, but I used no foul language, nor did I step on anyone's toes.

I attempted to re-register with a different name a couple of times, but I never got a confirming e-mail to click on, so that didn't work. until today, when I borrowed a name from my daughter, and at last was able to get through.

Can someone please tell me why zoey got thrown out???

Go to the user cp for Zoey, change your email to a secondary email account.. Wait for the notification, activate, change it back and wait for the notification at your new account and activate it again. The email notification was down for a while and you probably did not get an activation notice for Zoey 1 time when you should have.

The only zoey I find is a one poster from 2001...

"Users Awaiting Email Confirmation"

Looks like you didn't reply to the confirmation email. 08-27 is the register date, we didn't have the email problems until a few days later so you should of gotten the email.

Is this the correct email?

OK all, I am back. I did not recieve any emails about re-registering and I could not get to my user profile or even register with a different name until today.

My first post was on 08/27/04 and it ended up being a fairly long thread with lots of helpful suggestions.

My last post was a reply to a question re; calling me Aunt Tille! I gave permission [I am an Aunt Tillie], but I think that Grandma zoey would be closer to the mark.

I am working pretty hard at this Linux business!
