I discovered a really cool new book at Barnes & Noble this evening. It has some pretty nifty shell scripts. Originally, I was just going to mention the book, but upon further research, discovered that it has it's own website. On the website you'll find all of the scripts that are actually in the book. I was somewhat hesistant to put up the website at first because I wasn't sure if it was OK to just download everything without having purchased the actual book. Upon further reading the author says it's OK to download them and even has all of the scripts nicely packaged in a tar--gzipped archive for downloading. The only thing is that you won't get the explanation that the book provides. I think I am just going to buy the book eventually.

I was hoping that this thread would generate alot of interest. Since it didn't I'm going to give it one more try. Everyone's always interested in using cool scripts or using cool commands. Believe me this book has got some truly interesting stuff.
