i run a proftpd server on a mandrake 9.2 box. it works great, and is very reliable, just one thing. I've had this happen on many big uploads of let say phpNuke. when i go to delete the enitre folder of it i get an error 550 (directory not empty) i cant see anything still on there even in linux, no hide certain file types isn't turned on. i have to go onto my linux box to delete these folders/files, this isn't a problem for me, but for anyone else using this service it causes major problems. the login used to access the ftp is my user account int mdk and it access my home directory by default. i checked through some of the settings i have and nothing seemed to be set to block access, any help is appreciated (I'm betting this is a simple problme and the fix is right under my nose)
