I'm 19 and I hate politics. The upcomming election in the states will be my first presidential election. As I'm sure many people here do, I hate things like the FCC, the induce act, and the patriot act. I don't pledge support to any party, be it donkeys, elephants, greens or libertarians. I want to vote for the next president, but boy is it a tough desicion. I don't know jack squat about the war in iraq. All I know is that Osama bombs the **** out of us, then we're after sadaam. Our amazing public school system didn't teach me history past America's last real good event, WWII. I know little of vietnam, nothing about korea (exept from mash) and nothing of Persian Gulf I. Therefore, I know little of the events that have lead up to where the world is today.
So anyway, I guess the question here is, who do you guys like for the upcomming election? What are some pros and cons of the candidates? How do the candidates feel about issues such as the broadcast flag, the patriot act, the induce act, or anything else involving technology? I don't want to just hear of bush/kerry, but of the third parties as well. And one last thing. Let's try not to make this into a flame war. I, as I'm sure many of you would, like some facts about the candidates.
