Sound fix for UT2003 from UT2004 demo?

I just installed UT2003 and I have bad sound. There is a pretty easy fix for it that I found a few months ago, but can't find it now. You can copy a file from the UT2004 demo and paste it into UT2003 and it will fix the sound. But I can't remember which file it is. Does anyone know?

For sound, probably openal.so
