configuring xorg.conf file

The xorg file is almost *exactly* the same as the XFree file (at least, right now). So, whatever you would do in XFree, do the same in Xorg.

Ah, okay. Can't help you there as I don't use Xorg. (I did -- but ti bugged out on me.)

I believe DRI doesn't work with nvidia's (binary) drivers. If you're using a driver called nvidia, comment them.
