whats the diff ? just "extra packages" ?

its what is on the installation CD
after installing the personal CD, you can select ftp servers for subsequent installation of packages, and have the full blown SUSE. (It;s what I have done when testing SUSE)
I am very impressed with SUSE, and consider it to be the best newbie distro (even above Mandrake)
The only things I don't like about SUSE is the non-standard stucture and specialty patches in all kinds of packages.

Pro comes with a ton of server-oriented packages. Apache, Samba, etc. Nothing you can't get elsewhere, just packaged nicely and ready to go.
