get LILO off

Hi,

I'm trying to get LILO off my master boot record (im getting rid of my linux partition) and i dont know how. Does anyone know what to do ?

use fdisk /mbr from a windows bootdisk

put in a windows boot CD or DOS floppy and fdisk /mbr

that - or reinstall windows.

The LILO way:

from LILO man page...

/sbin/lilo {-u|-U} - uninstall LILO boot loader

-u [device-name]
Uninstall lilo by copying the saved boot sector back. The '-s'
and '-C' switches may be used with this option. The device-name
is optional. A time-stamp is checked.

-U [device-name]
Idem, but do not check the time-stamp.

The Microsoft way:

boot the emergency boot floppy and type "fdisk /mbr"
