My first linux distrobution I ever installed/tried installing was fedora 2, which didnt work. Second attempt Debian. Too complicated, didnt work either. Suse my third attempt, nice install compared to the others, and I made it through till the end. I installed everything and it wanted config settings on my graphics card and something about the monitor. So I selected my graphics card and continued on. Now at the prompt when i boot up linux, I click on details and it shows me its activities. I see that theres an error on the GUI loading up. Will I have to reinstall or is there a manual way to fix this from this point on?

Can you be a little more specific on the details of the error?

Okay well, this is what I see on the screen, after the boot up, the details are near the end where there are processes "failed" are
Setting up network interfaces:

eth0 interface could not be setup........ ..failed
setting up service network ..................failed
( continues on and then ends at where it wants a name and pw entered, and after entered leaves a prompt.)

It looks like your nic is not getting an ip address during startup.
Are you connecting to a network with a dhcp server or did you set your system up with a static ip address?

On a side note, log in with your username and password and type startx to get X running.

Well, its probably because i'm going through wirelessly. Cable line is getting wirelessly routed from another computer to mine.

Try becomin root (tipe "su" and your"password" and then "sax2"
that will start suses thing to set up x, it will say something like, this is sax2 attempt to guess your settings, does this seam right? Most of the time it is fine, (no 3d acesselaration).

You might have some unusual hardware and if that is the case, then post your hardware specs.

Restart the computer, when logging in tipe "root" (withs is the same as administrator in windows) and root password, you chose that during install.
Then "sax2"
Then you should be good to go.

Nope :(.....
SaX2: invalid runlevel for console mode
SaX2: Please switch to runlevel 3 first
init 3
Sax2: Abort
