Resolution on Suse 9.0 Laptop

I recently purchased a LC2410 (linux certified) laptop, it came with SuSe 9.0 installed, and the cds. I recently re-installed SuSe and now my resolution will not fit the full screen, I've tried everything and that I know, with the configurations, and it shows the SX2 screen and it shows the full screen, but when I press accept, it goes back to not fitting the entire screen.

Sorry for my wording, I do not know the technical words to use instead, so my question seems ill worded. All I know about it is that it is a LC2410 Laptop, with a 15" TFT screen.

Have you tried changing the resolution? Or maybe i dont konw what you mean by "fits on the screen"...

LCD's often display low resolutions in a 1to1 ratio with their pixels, so they don't use the full screen.
You need to change the resolution and possible other xfree settings. I don't know if YAST can do this for you or not.
