Ok, here is the prob, i had Mandrake intalled once before, but i went back to windows... -_-... so finally i decide im not gonna stick with that trash any longer, so i Delete windows and install mandrake, mandrake 9.2 is my ONLY CURRENT OS on this system, i wanted to get 10 on here, but this Bit Torrent program i need to download the 10 ISO's has to be installed...

I used to know ALL of the commands to install programs... but its been like a year since i been on a linux machine. i have forgotten how to do many-a things..

I need someone friendly to help me get to know mandrake, and refresh my memory on installing progs... also to be a friend! =)

but my only current way of contact is through MSN (for some reason Kopete wont connect to YIM...)

so, if you would please MSN Messege me at: heavygrubs7@msn.com your help will be greatly appreciated!!! plz guys.. i dont want to go back to windows... i hate it... too much spyware and all this bs... and deleting it was my only option to not goin back.. or i will get tempted...

use rpms for mandrake.

search rpmfind.net for bittorrent rpms for mandrake 9.2

then use rpm on it -- maybe man rpm would teach you a thing or 2

You could try looking in your control panel.

Go to Packaging and Install. Search around in there in the Internet programs.

Another thing you can do, to get more options, is add the Mandrake Cooker directory to your media sources (that's in the media sources part). Then go to Update or Updgrade or whatever, and let it search. You should have a lot of results.

As for how to find how to add Cooker to your media, search Google for Mandrake cooker add media or something like that.

Why don't you just download Mandrake 10 from the Mandrake website???
