I just got a wireless network and I can't get the usb adapter to work on my computer with linux. I am a complete Linux idiot and I have tried most of the stuff that I have seen on this website to try to get it to work. I have got nothing to work and I have been trying all day. Does anybody know how I can get a Linksys WUSB11 ver. 2.8 to work on Suse 8.2 Pro? If there is a different kind of linux that I could download like RedHat that I needed to have to make this thing work I will change to it.

Thanks,
Taylor

I did read the readme but I had no clue what they were talking about. I need to get a book or something that will help me learn some more about linux.

I read the other thing that you posted and also didn't know what they were talking about. I typed in lsmod and it said something like not a valid command.:(

Thanks for your help,
Taylor

I might just take this thing back and get an SMC network instead

I cant because I did that all in linux and now I'm in windows. I have two hard drives with a nick lock. I'm going to try to put it in open office then put it on a floppy and load it onto windows. Hold on a second.

Thanks,
Taylor

I tried to do the thing with open office but it didn't open up in windows even when I saved it as a Windows XP file.

You cant save Linux files to the NT filesystem. They can be saved to a Fat32 filesystem however.Try to save it to a floppy with the ".txt" extension.
