When I try to install games that require 2 discs to install in Cedega like GTA3 Vice City and Command and Conquer Generals, when it gets to asking for the second CD, I insert it, and it always comes up in Japanese and invalid characters. If I shut down the install, then the CD reads fine with its contents. Anyone have a solution for this problem? This is on the SuSE box below.

The Point2Play offers unmounting of discs, even if they have open files
Start the install outside of the mounted directory
Turn off Supermount
check the Transgaming forums as this has been asked 2000 times!!!

TGW usually recommends copying the entire second disc to the hard drive temporarily and pointing the install to that location when it asks for the second disc.

Point2Play 1.3 is here
Issued on Tuesday June 22, 2004
Point2Play 1.3 is the latest version of our official graphical frontend for Cedega. Among other features, this latest version will enable you to automatically download and install volunteer driven translations and unmount and eject CD-ROMs even if there are files on the disc left open by the application. Small packages are back by popular demand (however they are unsupported at this time).
Read the full release notes (http://downloads.transgaming.com/files/point2play-1.3_releasenotes.txt)and the specific part in the readme- When unmounting a CD-ROM, Point2Play will make use of new Cedega 4.0 technology
to unmount and eject the CD-ROM - even if there are files on the disc left open
by the application. This is useful for some installers that wouldn't let you
switch CD-ROMs.
