I run Slackware 10.0 w/ Gnome 2.6.. I'm trying to find the Fedora Core 2 icon set (Bluecurve?), without much luck. I found one place that has the icons, v0.89, not sure if it's the latest.
Anyone know for sure?

Hm, it was an .rpm file.. I tried "rpm -i blahblah.rpm" and it said some file it depended on was missing.. Xcursors pack or somesuch.

you can either install it with --nodeps option or you could use alien to convert it to a slackpak.

Ah cool.. thanks!
Turns out it wasn't quite the same icon theme used in Fedora Core 2 (the 'Computer' icon is different). The search continues...

You could plead with a FC2 user to send you a tarball of the icons... I would if you hadn't switched me to slack!

I still have the FC2 DVD here.. I mounted it and searched for the icons, I tried a few of them but none of them were it. Weird.

Download:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/2/i386/os/Fedora/RPMSredhat-artwork-0.96-1.i386.rpm /
then run
rpm2tgz redhat-artwork-0.96-1.i386.rpm
installpkg redhat-artwork0.96-1.i386.tgz
(as root of course)

Awesome.. thanks!! Worked great. I just unzipped the .tgz file though, and installed the icons.. I didn't want everything, and wasn't sure what the .gtkrc files would do to my setup.
