links to ntfs partition

I was trying to make a link on my dropline gnome desktop to a folder on the ntfs partition and wasn't able to do it. Is this possible should I be able to?

You should be able to do it. I don't use Gnome, but I just have a link to Konqueror in Idesk with the parameter /path/to/ntfs/partition (so that would be: "konqueror /path/to/ntfs/partition"). I imagine you should be able to do the same thing with Nautilus.
