I seem to have Admin Options enabled

As you will see from the attached screenshot, I went to reply to a thread and noticed that I have the admin options enabled. Is this a bug?

Apologies - forgot to say that I am currently on Windows XP with Mozilla 1.7a

If you can rename it from "I seem to have Admin Options enabled" to something else after someone responds (like I just did)...

According to your account profile, the user group is 'Registered' (same as all other members) while if you had admin/moderator rights it would show as either 'Admin', 'Moderator' or 'Super Moderator'.

I concur with MIke's assessment. I want to know of that drop-down list actually works.

The drop down is there, but none of the options work - so i am unable to wreak havoc across the boards ;)

It may be one of those strange things in Win XP. I'll try from my box at home tonight. It runs the infinitely more predictable and stable Linux. :)

I just noticed it after looking at this thread that I have the admin dropdown box also.
It wasn't there this morning.

Also happens in Linux. Very very odd - could it be that a line which instructs that to only be visible to mods has been changed?

Our permissions seem to be ok, but we can see something we shouldn't.

Just a thought.

I've noticed it about 2 minutes before I posted - I don't think it was there before then, but I can't be sure.

It wasn't there for me the first time I read this thread, then I read it again to see what the replies were and the option showed up.

So for me at least it has only started happening recently.

Yep... now you can see ALL the power us moderators have. Some of those selections have submenus with even more options we can use to mess with the regular users. :p
