I'm running Dropline Gnome, and I noticed on the login screen, there are options at the bottom like Reboot, Session, etc., plus some options that are missing that were present in other themes. How do I add/remove these options? E.g. if I don't want the option to reboot.. how do I hide it?

in the gdm preferences, disable the system menu.

Found it.. they renamed it to "Show actions" or something like that.
Thanks!

E.g. if I don't want the option to reboot.. how do I hide it? Go hardcore and remove "Shutdown" too:D

Yeah I was disturbed to find that Reboot/Shutdown didn't prompt for root password.

Anyway, I don't think you can disable individual options. Turning off the "show actions" disabled all the system related options..which is fine.

Yeah I was disturbed to find that Reboot/Shutdown didn't prompt for root password. Did you try changing permission levels on those two actions? No that I have ever tried it...or even thought of if.

Thats "secure actions menu" in the configuration thingy. It would then prompt for the root password.

But hey, they can always just unplug the thing.

secure actions menu? Where do you see that? If I open the Login Manager prefs, I can enable/disable showing the reboot/shutdown icons..but I can't put restrictions on them like having them prompt for root password.

in the gdmsetup program. If you're a bit confused (can't find it in that program), then I'll go grab some screenies of it.
