All you need to do is search the JL forums for each and read what others have to say about ATI or NVIDIA.

OK, for this thread's answers, I would state that I haven't tried ATI at all, but from what I see ati seems to have better rates when configured nicely.

I remember once that nvidia released a driver that was buggy but was capable of speeding up the cards to compete with ati, and was flamed quite seriously.

However, getting an ati means that you are asking for trouble with drivers. Nevertheless, most of the cards have documentation nowadays...

I am calm. I only suggested a forum search as I know there are many threads here on the pros and cons on using either ATI or Nvidia. Something wrong with that?
