Linux Dos

Reading Unix I get the urge to create a Linux Dos for simplicity. I have been an operator and know somethings about Old JCL which would fit Linux DOS idea perfectly.
I think that for those who cannot divorce themslevs from MSDOS, perhaps a Linux Dos can be nessecary. Linux Dsos I used on Mandrake was nothing more then UNIX shell commands.
It would be fun to put it together, if anyone has a compiler or something maybe we could workmon my ideas-screw getting paid for it, I would do it free for now.
