Descent 3

Is there any way to install descent three using my windows cd like quake III does? I looked around and didn't think so but just had to make sure. :(

The Linux port by Loki uses a different data format than what's on your Windows Descent 3 CDs (it was a requirement put on Loki by Interplay as a condition of doing the port), so no, it's not possible. It's the same reason that there's no way to take the Linux CDs and install them on Windows.

WineX may be able to run the Windows version, though. Or, you could look around for somewhere that's still carrying the Linux version for cheap.

Oh ok, thanks. I was just hoping I could get the binary and then use it with the .hog file.
