PPPoE on slackware

Hello,
Has anyone seen a good and easy to use PPPoE package for slackware. Right now I have pppd 2.4.2 and rp-pppoe. the problem is that rp-pppoe seems to be GUI only and I am only on ssh with this box.

I'm using rp-pppoe without a GUI on my firewall box... (X isn't even installed)

I don't remember how I installed it though. Maybe you'd have to compile from source and add --disable-gui (or whatever) to the ./configure line. Check ./configure --help for other options.

Then you'd have to edit the pppoe.conf file.

Isn't it easier to use these:

adsl-setup
adsl-start
adsl-stop
adsl-status
