Is there a way to stop or reduce the amount of Just Linux e-mail I get? I mean I check my hotmail account once or twice a week and I have liek 40% of my space used up from lik 50+ Just Linux e-mails... I dont really care who responds the the posts I make because I check them so I dont need it to tell me that some1 posted something.

Yeah!!! Stop sending me spam :D

j/k just want to know if theres a way to reduce the amount or stop it form comming because I check this site every day I dont need an e-mail to tell me some1 responded to a topic I posted in.

go into your "user cp" and turn it off, under "edit options".

probably "email notifications" -- i am assuming.

And then you'll have to visit all your subscribed threads and unsubscribe yourself.

At the bottom of the reply box, there are 4 checkboxes. The second one, Email Notification, is the one you want to be turned off. I am fairly sure that you can edit your previous posts, uncheck that box, and save the changes.

The setting that Hayl is referring to is under User CP -> Edit Options, and it's called "Use 'Email Notification' by default?".

Yeah, it's on by default when you sign up, no, I don't know why. Brian, is there any way we can change that?
