1) It latest development both software and hardware
2) Its application
3) The impact on its widely applicaton
4) Sites actively discussing this topic

I've never noticed any of our JL members post anything on RFID.

Have you tried any of the search engines to find info on RFID? Google, Google for Linux etc. ? freshmeat.net or sourceforge.net for software/applications etc.?

Perhaps you may recieve more responses if I move this to /dev/random.

I have not searched freshmeat.net and sourceforge.net yet.

Google search brought me several links. In order to narrow my search I start to post. I am mostly interested to find forums/mailing lists actively discussing this topic.

Kindly move my posting to the category on this site which you consider relevant and keep me informed after its removal.
