Network and Communications Management

and

Computer Engineering Technology

I like both and I also like the courses each one has. I am wondering though, which one will open more doors to me. The second one seems to me to be much more technical which makes it more tempting.

Thoughts?

I have a lot of direct experience with your first option. I would recommend you look at something else. The market is flooded right now with people who have that skillset. So even if that is what you truly enjoy and really aren't looking at the financial aspects, you may find yourself having trouble getting a job in that field. Trust me. I have watched thousands of people who have studied that same discipline become unemployed within the last two years. Go with option two. Or better yet, pursue Electrical Engineering. It's broad and covers many things and will open a TON of doors for you. Long road to travel though.

eletrical engineering huh? i would say more like electronic, but i guess they're all touched upon in the end. I don't really know much about the market other than I heard that its been better for many, especially IT people and things like that, so I would say Computer Engineering.

I would agree. But a great many Computer related jobs are being offshored. That isn't too say you can't get a great job in some form of Computer Engineering. But then again, if you want to get into some form of Computer Engineering, your really looking at being a Electrical Engineer. For example, if you wanted to be a Engineer at Intel, they are going to require you to be a full blown Electrical Engineer. Bet your last dollar on it. And if the computer aspect falls out, Electrical Engineering gives you enough of a background that you can go off in several different fields. Right now the problem we face with anything IT related is we can't compete on price with other nations because our cost of living is so much higher.

i see, that makes sense too. Just out of curiousty, how about Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc. This is what I would really like to study.

I'm not really sure (only 15) But the concept of going into a broad feild makes perfect sense.
