hello, I am a newbie to Linux, and having a major problem installing Redhat 9. When I go to install from http I type in this:
Site: ftp.redhat.com
directory: pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/
and I hit OK.
Now, it says it cannot retrieve http://ftp.redhat.com//pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/Redhat/base/netstg2.img
then it says it cannot get the image to install.
Why would it tell me that, and also, why does Linux put two '//' between .com and pub/ if I had not even typed them to begin with? I really do want to get rid of windoze xp...
