Xandros Linux

has anyone here used Xandros Desktop 2.0 Delux?

(debian based distro)

im thinking of buying this OS because it's compatible with my hardware and existing windows software

is there anything negative about Xandros that i should know about?

I've always liked the look of Xandros too. The only negative thing I saw in the Xandros 2 reviews was that it left a few too many ports/services open, and so wasn't as secure as a newbie-oriented Linux should be.

You have to admit that much of what is there must be pretty good, when they go down that road to find something wrong with it.
