Hello everyone :), I have a quick question for anyone who dual boots two or more linux distros. I reinstalled slackware today (version 9.1) on my laptop and configured everything the way I wanted it to be. I had also left half of the hard disk unused so I could dual boot with Fedora Core 1. Well after installing Fedora Core 1 and setting up grub, Slackware will no longer start if you select it at the grub screen when the computer boots up, nor will the slackware boot disk I created work. I'm thinking it has something to do with the way I setup my grub config file, because the kernel for Slackware will start to boot up, but then it complains about some sort of LABEL and root. Anyway I'm going to post my partition scheme and grub.conf file below so you guys can see if thats what the problem is. If anyone who dual boots muliple linux distros dosen't mind I'd like to see how you set yours up as well so that I can get an idea on where I went wrong.
