Customizing Enlightenment Menus

Hey all

Im sure this has been asked a billion times, but how do I really edit menus in enlightenment?

Ive tried hand editing the menus.cfg file, but nothing changes..... as an interesting sidenote, I dont have a user menu....

yes, it has been asked before - that is just one of the results i got when i searched... and that is just on our forum... i didn't try google.

I saw that, but it doesn't help..... /.enlightenment has almost nothing in the way of configuration files in it for me, and like said, menus.cfg doesn't seem to change a thing
