I'm attempting to work my way through this, but I have nowhere to start. I was wondering if WINE keeps a log anywhere of whatever errors occur, then I could see why this monitor keeps shutting down, and I can work from there. Aswell, if anyone has any solutions, I would appreciate it ;) . Radeon 9200 SE, if it helps.

What about ~/.wine or /var/log any thing in either of them?

You can run it in debug mode to see the errors
wine -debugmsg +err program.exe

[templest@localhost windows]$ wine -debugmsg +err IsUninst.exe
Unknown option '-debugmsg +err'

Am I doing something wrong?

**Note, I'm just runing random programs, because monitor falls asleep when I run anything.

does it sleep after a period of inactivity or you keep working and it just goes to sleep mode? if it is former than you just have to set xset while if it is former than may be your Video Card is having problems. have you got it overclocked?

Well, my vid card isn't overclocked. My CPU is... And As soon as I type "wine <program>.exe" is just crashes (note: <program> is just a generic name, I'm not actually typing "<program>" :p)

It doesn't matter what, I just type it... almost instantaneusly... *click*.. monitor in sleepmode. any ideas?

EDIT: Sorry for the long time it took to reply, re-installed mandrake to see if it helped. Negative.

it is not giving you any errors? no output in the terminal?
mahdi gave you the command to get the detailed error output. did you try that?

nope... doesn't work. AT ALL. Instantly when I run ANYTHING, It will sleep the monitor. No matter what, even if I type that, I wouldn't see anything, because it would crash. WineX works, and doesn't turn it off, but now it just stalls, won't turn monitor off though.

Errrrrr...
