It said "share your code", so I'm sharing. Hope somebody else in the whole wide world (www) needs this:
A script to convert a large bookmarks.html file as produced by mozilla or firefox into a series of hyperlinked webpages, like a directory structure:

(there's some other stuff there, too; I'm working on my own custom content management system, and this is one of the first offshoots).
