Im running Knoppix as my Current Linux operating system.

Is the DWL-120+ a new model? I've seen a few threads here for the 120 or 120A.

Do you know what module/driver it uses? You can search www.google.com/linux for 'DWL-120+' to see if you can find guides to help with the driver install and configuration (if it's supported of course).

I would say that it's doubtful that the DWL-120+ will work under Linux. Check out the following page from D-Link's Support Section.

http://www.support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=357&question=General+Wireless

They list their drivers or other websites for drivers for any of the available wireless cards. Unfortunately it says Not Available for your particular wireless product.

personnaly, i wouldnt count on getting it to work very easily, if at all

because, as far as i have seen, that has an ACX-100 chip from TI in it, and, although there are open-source drivers out there that have been reverse-engineered, i dont believe they support the USB versions of the network adaptors..

if you want a 22mbps DLink adaptor, then you could go get a DWL-810+, which plugs into a regular network port..

its about 60 dollars off of NewEgg.com

i have every intention of buying it myself.. :D

Check out http://sourceforge.net/projects/acx100/ I do not think the DWL-120+ is working yet but they are working on the driver. I am using DWL-650+ and it seems to work very well (as good as windows if not better).
