this might be a little different.... is there a way to run Linux Applications on windows? specifically, I've gotten so used to using evolution on my Linux system at home, that I'd like to be able to use it at work (which is a win2k box) ... is there someway to run X programs on a windows box without dual booting (or using win4lin/vmware) ... thanks!

X has been ported to cygwin and you can run your favorite X apps on it (although it might take quite a bit of work to go through to get evolution to compile right on it.)
