The Firesomething extension (http://www.cosmicat.com/software/firesomething/)

Works in at least Firebird (CVS pull from shortly before it was renamed Firefox), and I'd assume the real Firefox also. Switch names with Ctrl-`, or just shut it down and restart it. I especially like the two additions to the Book of Mozilla (the collection of "easter eggs" that have been in the about:mozilla page since about Netscape 1 or so).

Eh? You can change the lists of words that it chooses from, if that's what you wanted to know (go to about:config and change the firesomething.* prefs). You can make the list into names of people if you really want.

Maybe I'm just missing your point, though...
