Anyone else having problems with Linux From Scratch Website?

For some strange reason I cannot access the part of the website which directs you to skip to content which sits in the upper right-hand corner. I updated browsers (Netscape 7.1) still doesn't take me to the contents. My computer at school works fine for some reason. When I do click on it (skip to content) it just takes me further down the same page where all of the various mirrors are. Did a search and there were too many threads to look through to find if someone else has already posted this same problem.

That page doesn't have any "contents" other than the mirror list. ;)

That page is only there to get you to choose a mirror (i.e., some site other than the main server, to try to cut down on the amount of bandwidth that Gerard has to pay for each month). Once you choose a mirror, you'll be taken to the main news page, where you can choose what to read (CVS LFS book, 5.1-pre1 LFS book, BLFS book, ALFS stuff, etc.).

The "skip to content" link is just pointing at an anchor on the current page that's positioned at the bottom of the header stuff. Clicking it won't do anything more than skipping past the page header.

I think what you want is this page:

(That's 5.1-pre1. If you want the current CVS book, replace "test" with "cvs" in that URL.)

OK, its everything is fine now. Clicked on the mirror and it took me where I wanted to go. Thanks for the link.
