Schweet...
Too bad you need to give them some personal information first, nothing too bad...just an email address and your name :)
Maybe people will check this out more and realize it's not that bad :)
I'll install it on my laptop later tonight to play around with
In case anyone was also wondering, it's just a fancy GUI on top of Debian, so you can ditch the click-n-run and use the apt sources ;) :D

My download just started, about two hours after I got in the que. I've got some free space on a hard drive that I'm going to install this on. I was planning to install Debian on it anyway. We'll see how this goes. You can sign up for 15 free days of Click-n-run, although I didn't read all of the conditions. I may try it out then switch to apt after the fifteen days is up.

Please be advised!
Whereas Lindows is a modified version of Debian, just installing Debian packages will cause you problems. First of all, they modified the apt-get application so that it only works with .deb.lindows packages ( minor problem, and is fixable) also note that if you install .deb package, it could cause conflicts as Lindows has changed the names of some of the major packages, and header files.
All of this is work-aroundable ( is that a word?).
just a little heads up.
Also Mahdi, that is a laptop version of Lindows 4.5 it's not bad either.

Thanks for pointing that out about the .deb's, I've only used Lindow breifly in the past (1.x release...) and from what I know about these newer releases, they are not bad...just very different!
609 and counting..at least we got this before slashdot! I wonder if they will even post it today :)
10421 and waiting :D
*edit*
Oh, BTW...This is the "Developers Edition" which means the dev tools are included and do not require the CNR to install them...so you can still compile things from source ;)
*EDIT* *EDIT*
Oh, suckage! Read the 'fine print' on that 15-day CNR trial...get this!
