Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me get this working. I have downloaded the gkrellweather-2.0.6 plugin. I compiled and it was installed into usr/local/bin/gkrellm2/plugins The plugins are actually in /home/user/.gkrellm2/plugins. No big deal I thought and I moved it and it loaded fine into gkrellm. The problem is that I not able to get actual weather data. The Readme states that wget or LWP is required. I went ahead and downloaded Wget and installed it. However, it is still not working. If I'm understanding right the GrabWeather perl sript is supposed to create a data file that the plugin then read and get the data. I tried using Grabweather and then a station code but nothing happened, no file. Is anyone out there using this plugin that can walk me through a config so I can get this work? Thanks in advance.

You need to configure it from within gkrellm.

And if you are on dialup it won't update if you aren't online.

ROFLMAO

No problem. I think that we've all experienced that short between the keyboard and the floor at one point or another. :D
